Liza Esmeralda Valentina is 27 and the current Care of Magical Creatures Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Character's Appearance: About 5'8ish, dark brown curly hair slightly past her shoulders. She has an adorable cute little button nose, lovely smile, and a kind laugh. She walks gracesfully, but has a tendancy to be clumsy around the suits of armor (due to a prank pulled on her she never recovered from when she was a student) She tends to dress more casual, but never in jeans (when teaching) opting for a simple skirt, or slacks. In time however, depending on the creature she’s dealing with, she will opt for jeans, as past expericences have shown was a wise choice. She has a standerd poodle, apricot/creame in color, whom she named, Poussoirs (Pondy for short). (Pronounced Pon-tuf) after a character in one of her favorite books.
Character's History: She was born Liza Esmeralda Valentina, originally for French Pure blood decent, her mother rebeled moving to England, and marrying a Muggleborn. She has an older brother who works in the Ministry. Her father however, was unaware of their mother’s gifts, and fell into a coma after fainting and hitting his head when the two’s magic abalities started to show.
Liza herself was a Ravenclaw, very smart and bookish to the point where in her 3rd year, most people didn’t think she existed, just a ghost that haunted the classrooms. She was able to come out of her shell in time, and is still learning things, that she missed those years.
Character's Personality: She is what many people called a gypsy of sorts unconveintial of thought and acts, she is excentric, and on random occasion (with those she trusts) loud. However, we all know the wise and beatific Dumbledor wouldn't ( knowingly) 'harbor' anyone (seriously) morally corrupt. To those who don’t know her, she would seem harmless, just a nice woman who’s too cute to do anything wrong. She is loyal to her friends, and often finds herself in positions of helping, or as in the case of her best friend Nick, verbially (or physically) slapping them silly.
